Tournament Regulations
This tournament is conducted in accordance with International Push Hands Competition Rules. All participants must review these regulations prior to the event.
Fixed Step Push Hands (Dingbu)
A discipline where competitors must keep both feet fixed while attempting to disrupt the opponent's balance.
- 1 Point: When the opponent's foot loses contact with the mat (lifts off).
- 2 Points: When any part of the opponent's body other than the soles of their feet touches the ground.
* No points are awarded if both competitors' feet lift off simultaneously or if both fall at the same time.
- Match Duration: 1 minute per round (1-minute rest interval)
- Decision: The competitor with the higher score at the end of the round wins (Immediate victory if a 6-point difference is reached)
- Victory Condition: Best-of-three rounds (The first to win 2 rounds wins the match)
Moving Step Push Hands (Huobu)
A discipline where competitors move freely within the designated area while attempting to disrupt the opponent's balance.
- 1 Point: When the opponent steps outside the competition area (out-of-bounds).
- 2 Points: When any part of the opponent's body other than the soles of their feet touches the ground.
* No points are awarded if both competitors step out of bounds simultaneously or if both fall at the same time.
- Match Duration: 2 minutes per round (1-minute rest interval)
- Decision: The competitor with the higher score at the end of the round wins (Immediate victory if a 6-point difference is reached)
- Victory Condition: Best-of-three rounds (The first to win 2 rounds wins the match)

Weight Classification
Competitors will be divided into weight classes based on the weigh-in results on the day of the tournament to ensure fair competition.
Dress Code
Please wear sportswear without zippers, metal parts, or decorations. A T-shirt must be worn on top. Pants must cover the knees. Accessories are prohibited for safety reasons.
Prohibited Actions & Penalties
Prohibited Actions
- Attacking the head, neck, or lower body.
- Grabbing clothing, hair, ears, or fingers.
- Striking, kicking, headbutting, leg sweeps, joint locks, or choking.
- Attempting to throw the opponent over the hip or back (Suplex/Hip throws).
- Any other conduct deemed unsportsmanlike.
Penalty System
- Warning: 1st offense – 1 point awarded to the opponent.
- Violation: 2nd offense – 2 points awarded to the opponent.
- Disqualification: Serious or repeated violations will result in immediate disqualification.
