Can I change my registration details after submission?

We accept credit card payments via Stripe. If you do not have a credit card, please indicate this in the registration form.

Will I receive a receipt?

Yes, a receipt will be automatically sent to your registered email address upon completion of payment.

Is it possible to cancel and get a refund?

Can I register from outside of Japan?

Absolutely! We welcome participants from all over the world.

Is group registration available?

No, we require each participant to register individually for data accuracy.

What is "Competitive Push Hands"?

A

It is a martial arts competition based on Tai Chi principles, where competitors use techniques to unbalance their opponent or push them out of the area.

Can beginners in martial arts participate?

A

Yes! The rules are straightforward and designed with safety in mind. We can also provide information on practice locations upon request.

Is there a dress code for the competition?

A

Athletic wear without zippers, metal parts, or sharp decorations is required. Pants must cover the knees. For safety, jewelry and accessories are prohibited.

Are there weight categories?

A

Yes. Divisions will be assigned based on the results of the official weigh-in on the day of the event.

Will there be a rules briefing on the day?

A

Yes, a comprehensive rules briefing for all athletes will be held before the matches begin.

Will lunch be provided?

A

Pre-ordered "Bento" (boxed lunches) are available for purchase via the registration form.

Are vegetarian or Halal options available?

A

Unfortunately, our caterer cannot accommodate specific dietary restrictions. Please bring your own meals if necessary.

Do you provide allergy-friendly meals?

A

We cannot guarantee allergy-safe meals. We recommend bringing your own food if you have severe allergies.

Are there restaurants near the venue?

A

There is a restaurant and shop inside the facility, but they are expected to be crowded. A few dining options are available around Shin-Kiba Station (approx. 13-minute walk).

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

A

Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the venue. Please enjoy items purchased from our on-site restaurants, vending machines, or concession stands. Kindly note that eating and drinking are strictly prohibited within the competition areas; please use the designated rest zones as directed on the day of the event.

Where is the venue located?

A

The event will be held at Bumb Tokyo Sports and Culture Hall (Koto-ku, Tokyo), in Multi-Studio A.

Is there parking available?

A

You may use the nearby Yumenoshima Park Parking Lot, though it is not exclusively for the venue.

What is the nearest station?

A

It is approximately a 13-minute walk from Shin-Kiba Station (JR Keiyo Line / Yurakucho Line).

Are there changing rooms available?

A

Yes, locker and changing rooms are located near the studio.

Can I bring spectators?

A

Yes! Admission for spectators is free. Family and friends are more than welcome.

What time should I arrive at the venue?

A

Athlete check-in starts at 10:00 AM. Please arrive on time for the weigh-in.

What should I bring on the day?

A

Please bring your competition gear, towels, indoor athletic shoes, and hydration.

Can I leave the venue before the event ends?

A

Yes, you may enter and exit freely as long as you are present for your scheduled matches and briefings.

Is there medical support on-site?

A

Yes, medical staff will be stationed on-site. All participants are also covered by event liability insurance.

Am I allowed to take photos or videos?

A

Yes, but please be respectful of other participants' privacy and avoid obstructing the matches.

Can I participate if I don't speak Japanese?

A

Yes. English-speaking staff will be available on-site to assist you.

Will there be interpreters available?

A

We provide limited interpretation support for competition procedures and emergency situations.

Do you provide visa support or invitation letters?

A

No, the Secretariat does not provide visa sponsorship or invitation letters. Please arrange your own travel documents.

Can I pay the registration fee in foreign currency?

A

Payments are accepted in Japanese Yen (JPY) only. If you wish to pay using a foreign currency, please use a credit card.
